Hello my name is Jon Moorhouse and I am the Cotswold Chauffeur
The Cotswolds is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in England, covering an area of about 600 square miles. All my life I have visited different parts of the Cotswolds, and I know every village, market town, garden and attraction there is in this huge area!
I started my education at my local village primary school in Luckington and after school with my friends we used to go and play in the rolling hills and rivers that make the Cotswolds so famous.
Luckington is a tiny Cotswold village where in the 1990’s the BBC adaption of Pride and Prejudice was filmed, and more recently it is the village where I married my wife Kerry in the beautiful 12th century church!
At my secondary school in the City of Bristol I found a passion for music and during his time I became an accomplished pianist and trumpet player and played in many orchestras and bands in the City
During the nineties I furthered my musical education at a music college in Cambridge and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of arts Degree in classical music.
I returned home to the Cotswolds where I continued to teach. Today I live with my wife Kerry in a small eighteenth century cottage just a few miles away from one of England’s prettiest villages – Castle Combe.
I continue to play and listen to classical music but my main interest is showing enthusiastic travellers around the area I love best – The Cotswolds
